The builder's note

I built AniVr for myself, then opened the door

AniVr started as a personal project: a place where I could keep the anime photos and video that stopped me mid-scroll in one clean, focused space. I wanted a home for the frames I kept returning to, not another feed to get lost in.

I built the site as a fan first. Every layout choice keeps the media in front and the words out of the way, so the work does the talking.

How I choose

Frames that earn a closer look

Every photo and clip has to reward slowing down. I look for clarity first: sharp linework, clean color, and images that hold up at full size. Framing comes next, favoring compositions with a clear focal point and deliberate light.

For motion, I select clips with purpose, the moments where timing, camera movement, and expression carry the scene. AniVr prioritizes clear presentation over commentary or commerce, so each piece is shown as it was meant to be seen.
